The 6-foot-7, 30-year-old sensation shared a reel of himself playing a pickup game at around 9 o'clock in the evening in a typical Filipino covered court in Brgy. Tambisan which he stumbled on while on the way back to his hotel.

"9pm, riding motorcycle through the Philippines, going back to (the) hotel. Out of nowhere, a court volleyball shot! I came in just to play," Stein wrote.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Stein looked like he was having a good time as he took on local Siquijodnons while wearing casual street wear.
May it be in blocking or spiking, Stein hardly broke a sweat and almost didn't have to jump or exert full force to land his hits.

Both his local teammates and opponents were left in awe and could only laugh and shake their heads every time he showed glimpses of his world-class form.
Stein holds the distinction of being the youngest FIVB world champion ever at age 22 back in 2017 when he and his compatriot Evandro Oliveira won gold at the 2017 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Vienna, Austria.
He also copped bronze in the 2022 edition of the global beach volleyball conclave in Rome, Italy before striking gold again at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
