BELLA Belen is turning one of her early National University jerseys into a lifeline for a teammate in need.
The Capital1 star and three-time UAAP MVP announced she’ll be auctioning a memorable uniform to help a Cebuana teammate whose family was severely affected by the recent typhoon.

“This jersey holds a lot of memories, but right now it serves a greater purpose,” Belen wrote on Friday evening.

“I’m auctioning it to help my teammate’s family in Cebu, whose home was severely damaged by the recent typhoon. The destruction has left their house unlivable and unsafe, and we’re reaching out for your help as they begin to rebuild.”
Belen made her Facebook post public and opened the comments section for anyone who wants to bid. As of posting time, bids for Belen’s jersey have already climbed to as much as P18,000.
She also assured that all proceeds will go directly to the affected family.
Monetary donations are also being accepted through a QR code shared in the same post.

Belen joins a growing list of pro volleyball athletes stepping up for typhoon victims, following in the footsteps of former NU champion Jen Nierva and national team stars Sisi Rondina and Thea Gagate.
