DC COMICS once explored a universe where Batman got transported back to feudal Japan, which saw him and the rest of the Bat-family don a Samurai and Ninja-esque outfit, battling the likes of Deathstroke, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, and the Joker.
There were even scenes involving a battle between two mecha-esque giants, while an army of bats and monkeys joined forces to thwart the evil schemes of these villains.
However it seems the publication isn't done exploring with this idea as their latest trailer would highlight a new threat emerging.
This time around, it's the Yakuza who will be causing problems and things will reach a different turn as members of the Justice League were branded as the Yakuza League.
And so begins Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League.
Not much has been revealed, but there are scenes that highlight members of the Justice League wearing Japanese-inspired apparel, namely The Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. There were even hints of Superman making an appearance in this upcoming film.

It is also unsure who will be the main antagonist of this film though there were hints of Ra's Al Ghul being involved. Perhaps he may have found a way to control the Yakuza League.
Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League has yet to reveal its release date.
