Arwind Santos appeared as a judge on the long-running Eat Bulaga segment “Bawal Judgemental", and, according to the hosts, became the first contestant to ace all guesses in the quiz show.
The former PBA MVP appeared on the show with several stand-up comedians, recently out of work with the closure of the famed comedy bar Zirkoh.
The San Miguel Beerman opened the segment by showing off his karaoke chops, belting out a rendition of Aegis’ “Pagsubok.”
His Tsimosang Kapitbahay partner in the segment was Princess Ann Magno, a tattoo artist from Pasig City.
When asked by host Vic Sotto about his fitness for the on-air contest, Santos said, chuckling, “Judgmental po ako, pati po mga hayop jina-judge ko.”
In the first round, he proved his own self-assessment right, and the pair started strong out of the gate, nabbing all guesses right with “and 1”. Their winning streak continued on to Round 2, their P50,000 pot still intact.
The pair then aced the third and final round, which tasked Santos and Magno to guess which of the participants had college degrees.
“Di ka na lang PBA MVP, pati sa Bawal Judgemental, ikaw na rin ang MVP,” said Sotto.
Santos and Magno will split the P50,000 cash prize.
During the opening of the segment, Sotto also asked Santos briefly about the status of the PBA.
“Wala pa pong kasiguraduhan, pero lahat po ng mga players, gusto na po maglaro, pero maraming mga questions na di po masagot kaya pinaghahandaan po nang mabuti ng ating kumisyoner si Willie Marcial,” said the SMB mainstay.
