NETFLIX'S ARCANE has produced a plethora of emotional scenes, with the alternate universe featuring Ekko and Powder in Season 2, Episode 7, bringing a plethora of tears in our eyes.
But besides Ekko and Powder, there was another romantic sequence that heightened the emotions of fans, which happened in Episode 8, and this involved both Caitlyn and Vi, who aroused fans when the two characters started undressing each other inside a prison cell.
And as these two characters started having sex, the song 'Fantastic' by King Princess was played in the background.
Eventually it was revealed by Arcane co-creator Christian Linke that the scene was dialed down, and after his statement, a user by the name of RotemChan_ made a petition via change.org, wishing for the extended version to be released.
The petition stated: "It remains unclear whether this decision came from Netflix or Riot Games, but knowing that the extended cut exists and is likely stored in production studios has left fans deeply curious and disappointed."
"We respectfully ask Netflix and Riot Games to release the extended version of this pivotal moment for fans who cherish these characters and their journey."
As of November 30, 2024, there are around 30,000+ signatures.
