Apple David hits back at critics of relationship with Letran player Gammad
PBA courtside reporter and online personality Apple David lashed out at critics on Monday as she went public with her relationship with current Letran Knights guard Chad Gammad.
The popular television personality went live on TikTok on Monday afternoon and hit out at netizens who had criticized her rumored romance with the Fil-Canadian guard, mainly due to the couple's age difference.
David is 33 while Gammad just turned 18.

"Sobrang hirap bang rumespeto ng desisyon ng ibang tao? We’re happy. Supportive ang families namin. Ang pangit lang na we’re happy tas sinisira niyo ang happiness namin," David said on Tiktok Live.
"Ang dali kasi maging keyboard warrior. Don’t be quick to judge if you don’t know the story."

Rumors of a budding romance started as soon as David was seen at 19th Filoil Ecooil Preseason Cup games in San Juan, not in her usual spot on courtside but in the stands supporting Gammad in Knights' games.
Gammad is a 6-foot shooter who is entering his second year at Letran.
David clapped back at those throwing derogatory terms at her. "Don’t use words if you don’t know the meaning. Groomer? Predator? Pedophile? Do you guys even know the meaning?" she said.
Although she acknowledged the unusual nature of their relationship, David argued that they were both old enough to make relationship decisions.
“Naiintindihan ko na bata siya but he’s not a minor. I’m not even a groomer, 18 na siya nung nakilala ko siya. Hindi ko naman siya pinalaki," she continued.
"I also have a choice. Masama ba bigyan ng chance yung 18 year old? Nag-click eh. What am I supposed to do?
"Gets ko naman na mas bata siya, pero imbes na kwestyunin yung integridad ko, kwestyunin niyo na lang yung intensyon niyo."
