(Top Bikes) We have observed lately that there’s a growing following for electric bicycles here in our country. This inspires us to feature more of these environment-friendly and emission-free two-wheelers that are now being pushed by our government as an alternative mode of transport.

So it’s no surprise that premium motorcycle brands are coming up with their own versions of e-bikes. In the Philippines, the latest outfit to join the fray is Adventure Cycle Philippines (ACPI).

“We are bringing in Husqvarna electric bicycles by the end of 2020,” remarked ACPI president and COO Dino Santos during a recent episode of the Tunay na Rider podcast.

However, Santos is still silent on the specific e-bikes that he and the rest of the ACPI team will bring to our shores. Forever hungry for details, we browsed the official Husqvarna website to see what the bike manufacturer has to offer, starting with the Mountain Cross X.

ACPI is still studying the possibility of manufacturing Husky e-bikes locally. Currently, production of the 201 and 401 versions of the Husqvarna Svartpilen and Vitpilen are already underway.

For now, we can only surmise that these e-bikes will be among the models launched by ACPI alongside the first batch of Husqvarna motorbikes from the Laguna plant before the year ends. Isn’t that exciting news?
