(UPDATE, 6:41 PM, 26 November: Now updated with new schedules and information from PITX.)
WANT to watch the SEA Games opening ceremony at the Philippine Arena, but still looking for a ride?
For people coming from Manila, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has made good on its promise to open up P2P bus routes that will go straight to the venue at Bocaue, Bulacan.
The government agency has announced two terminals for the buses: one at Trinoma Mall, and the other at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) at the Tambo Service Road.
P2P tickets will sell for P100 if you're coming from Trinoma, and P150 if you're departing from the PITX. The first buses, according to the LTFRB's Facebook announcement, will depart at 2 PM.
UPDATE: In an email to SPIN Life, Jose Mari Salvador, head of corporate communications at PITX, has said: "There will be a minimum of 20 buses in PITX for [those] who intend to watch the opening of the SEA Games. Assembly time should be around 12 noon and dispatch will be around 1 PM."
SEA Games organizers previously announced that they would open the arena gates at 3:30 PM. They will conduct a lockdown at 5 PM to secure the arrival of President Duterte. The ceremony proper is expected to start at 7 PM.
Tickets cost P12,000 for Patron A, P4,000 for upper box, P1,500 for general admission center, and P1,000 for the general admission side. They are available at SM Tickets.
