THREADS, Meta's newest social media application which aims to rival Twitter, has taken over with over five million users in just four hours since its launch on Thursday.
In the world of sports, some of the country's well-loved volleyball athletes and personalities are already hopping onto the new platform.
From mere curiosity to jumping ship away from other platforms, check out their first 'threads' and how you can keep in touch with them online here:
Alyssa Valdez (alyssa_valdez2)

The Phenom herself was among the first local volleyball stars to join Threads with a simple greeting to her fans and followers.
Alyssa Valdez is slowly but surely regaining her lethal form in Creamline's Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference title defense.
At posting time, Valdez is now close to breaching the 10,000-follower mark on Threads.
Kianna Dy (kiannady)

F2 Logistics' ace spiker Kianna Dy had a rather interesting first thread to sum up why she also hopped onto the new platform.
"Goodbye Twitter," Dy said.
The former DLSU Lady Spiker came out swinging for the Cargo Movers to kickstart their PVL Invitationals campaign.
And right before the Volleyball Nations League break, Dy delivered a commanding 22-point performance in F2's four-set win against Cignal after a nine-point debut against Farm Fresh.
Dy has over 5,000 followers on Threads as of writing.
Bella Belen (mhicaelabelen)

Outside the pro league scene, the UAAP's first-ever women's volleyball rookie MVP is now also onboard on Threads.
Belen shared a group photo as her first thread, notably with fellow NU Lady Bulldog Camilla Lamina.
From back-to-back UAAP Finals appearances, including a perfect 16-0 sweep in Season 84 and a bridesmaid finish in Season 85, National U will usher in its next chapter with the return of former tactician Norman Miguel to call the shots as champion coach Karl Dimaculangan exits the squad.
The rookie MVP has over 1,400 Threads followers as of writing.
Faith Nisperos (faith.nisperos17)

Newest Akari Charger Faith Nisperos joins the growing list of PVL stars on the platform on its launch day.
Nisperos gave fans a quick glimpse of the bright lights on Day 3 of the Pasay City leg at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The ex-Ateneo skipper struggled to find her groove but remains very much optimistic about what lies ahead after her PVL debut, one where she only registered five points in Akari's straight sets loss to PLDT.
However, one of Nisperos' college rivals will soon share the same side of the court with her as former Lady Spiker Fifi Sharma opted out of her final UAAP playing year to join the Chargers.
Nisperos opened her Threads account with just over 700 followers as of writing.
Regine Diego (coachreginediego)

And apart from the on-court stars, F2 Logistics coach Regine Diego has also joined the volleyball community on Threads.
Shortly after wrapping up the brief opening stretch of F2's PVL Invitationals run with a win, Diego took on double duties as a member of the VNL's organizing committee in the tournament's Pasay City leg.
Coach Reg's wards picked up two crucial wins in a significantly shortened PVL midseason tilt to start their campaign.
However, Diego is far from satisfied as she cited the immense amount of work that still needs to be done to deliver a potential title-winning romp for the Cargo Movers.
