ROBERTO’S Food House, a restaurant along Jose Abad Santos Avenue in Nueva Ecija, has a menu that’s perfect for hungry bikers — special bagnet mami, steaming hot beef pares, crispy sizzling sisig.

And a lot of bikers do drop by their resto to eat. "Madami po talaga dumadaan dito sa aming bikers na umaakyat ng Mt. Arayat, na nagsa-stop over," the restaurant said in an interview with SPIN Life.

But just last weekend, a biker walked away with more than a full stomach.

“Shout-out po dun sa kumain na naka-bike,” said the restaurant in a Facebook post from August 10. “Paki-soli naman po yung ketchup namin kahit yung lalagyanan lang po tapos naiwan nyo po yung inuminan nyo dito. Salamat!”

It posted a picture of the water bottle inside a tray of condiments.

The resto added: “Paki-Share naman po para mahanap natin yung may-ari. Thanks! God bless!”

In the replies to the restaurant’s post, netizens were quick to post a screenshot from a certain “Bhiel,” showing three bikers and something very, very odd.

Can you spot it?

Let’s zoom in a little closer.

Mmmmm! Refreshing!

So, mystery solved, right? Not quite.

Roberto’s Food House pointed out out that this was probably not the ketchup container from the restaurant.

“[H]indi yan eh, color blue yung lalagyan,” replied the restaurant, followed by a series of laughing emoji.

Since the incident, Roberto’s Food House has been quick to capitalize on the unexpected virality of its post. Just yesterday, it posted a new picture. (Bikers, be warned!)

And it’s starting to call its Facebook fans “mga ka-ketchup,” too.

In an interview with SPIN Life, the restaurant revealed that the story actually had a happy ending. The same afternoon it posted the picture, the ketchup borrower swung by the restaurant to return the container.

"Di naman daw po siya yung kumuha nung ketchup," the restaurant told us over FB Messenger, with laughing emoji.

Because it's such a frequent stopover for bikers, Roberto's Food House has actually already accumulated quite a collection of left-behind tumblers.

"Marami pa nga dito tumbler na hindi pa binabalikan ng nakaiwan," it said.
