5 gaming desktops under P90,000 to get instead of a gaming laptop

Jul 21, 2020

DON’T get us wrong: gaming laptops are great.

But if you’re living the work from home life, it might be worth thinking about getting a powerful desktop instead of getting a laptop.

Advantages? For the same price, you can get more powerful chips. You also get a fully-fledged cooling system, so you can push your performance without roaring fans or warm keyboards.

And because you can swap parts in and out, you’re actually buying a machine that can last you a long time, since all you need to do is upgrade specific parts.

Disadvantages? Well, you won’t be putting these things on your lap anytime soon. You’ll also need to get your own monitor.

Still, if you’re looking to replace your work laptop for a more powerful machine, consider keeping the work laptop for when you need to work on the go, and spending your money on a desktop for your heavy-duty productivity and gaming needs.
