EXTENDING its ‘LifeWear’ functionality to sports and fitness, Uniqlo introduced its newest line: Sport Utility Wear.

And what better way to make it known than by having an actual professional athlete—volleyball star Kim Kianna Dy of PLDT—vouch for its quality?

Dy, alongside actor and casual athlete Enchong Dee, became the faces of the collection, as the brand hosted a pickleball session for its aficionados last Friday at the MET Park Sports Center in Pasay City.

Dy and Dee got to try the world’s fastest-growing racket sport—a newfound activity far from their usual arenas in volleyball and swimming.

They personally wore pieces from the collection during the activity.

Look good, play good

Sharing her experience, KKD, who’s also a known style enthusiast in her industry, emphasized the importance of comfort in any physical performance.

“During my trainings, it’s important to me that nothing restricts my progress, especially when it comes to my outfit. I need something that allows me to move and stretch the right way,” she said. “Uniqlo’s Sport Utility Wear is so perfect for my training and keeps me so comfortable for hours.”

The collection boasts diverse pieces with the brand’s iconic AIRism technology, ranging from tops and bottoms to outerwear, innerwear, and accessories.

It also features UV protection for outdoor activities under the Philippine heat, as well as DRY-EX technology to manage sweat and control odor—allowing its users to switch from one activity to the next in the same outfit.
