Stephen Curry hasn't been shy about his love for candy in general, even admitting that he stocks up on the Maynards brand whenever he returns to Toronto.
The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player and three-time champion is currently recovering from a hand injury, but this hasn't stopped him from working on his signature sneaker line with Under Armour and incorporating his sweet tooth into its latest model, the Curry 7.
Check out this collaboration between UA and popular confectionery Sour Patch Kids:
The basketball shoe will come in two flavor-themed colorways, Lime and Peach. Both neon schemes hold all the sugary elements: multi-colored insole, mascot heel print, and "Sweet" and "Sour" on pull tabs. Each pair is also equipped with Under Armour's HOVR and Micro G cushioning technologies, so it will feel just as sweet on your feet.
Just ask Mavs phenom Luka Doncic, who became the second player in league history to record a 40-point triple-double — 42 markers (career-high), 12 assists, 11 rebounds — under 21 years old, while wearing the Curry 7 Sour Patch Kids.
This was reportedly the first time that the sneaker free agent didn't rock a Nike pair, and Steph made sure Luka knew he noticed.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that the Philippines is included when the UA Curry 7 Sour Patch Kids "Lime and Peach" drop globally and via the web store on November 29 for $140 (around P7,000).
