SCOTTIE Thompson will now share the shoes he used in Gilas Pilipinas’ historic Asian Games triumph last year with World Balance releasing its newest colorway: the ST2 'Hero.'

Paying homage to the country’s proud colors, ST2 'Hero' features a striking black and white silhouette accented with a barong-inspired material adorning its sides and a subtle hint of blue and red gracing the pull tab.
“Sobrang saya kasi ilalabas ng World Balance yung ST2 'Hero' colorway. Very historic and very special yung sapatos na yun para sa akin,” said Thompson.
Thompson personally requested the ST2 'Hero' colorway and debuted the kicks in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 when Gilas played against Dominican Republic in front of a record 38,115-strong crowd at the Philippine Arena.
Iskati also made sure the ST2 'Hero' was with him when the Nationals won the gold medal in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, ending the country’s 61-year wait for continental glory when the Philippines topped Jordan in the final.
“More than the history with the colorway, quality talaga ito kasi yung traction and performance, sobrang ok niya ipanglaro,” said the Ginebra guard.
ST2 Hero will be available for P3,999.00, with limited availability, starting June in selected stores and on World Balance’s official website.
