AN iconic Nike Dunk colorway from 20 years ago just got a reissue, and boutique sneaker store Commonwealth is putting it up on sale for P4,995.
The catch? It will only be sold to winners of an online raffle.
This will ensure a “completely fair chance of winning the opportunity of purchasing a product launch release,” said the brand in its website.
The raffle is open to any Philippine resident. You’ll need to set up an account at the Commonwealth website to join. Afterwards, head to the Nike Dunk Low ‘Brazil’ product page on the site, and click the ‘Enter Raffle’ button.
The raffle will close at 5 p.m. today, and winners will be announced on July 31. If you win, you will be eligible to buy a pair in the size you selected during the registration.
The good news is that everything will be conducted online. “There is no need to physically enter the store to register or pick up the product. Payment will be processed online and the product will be delivered to your address,” said Commonwealth.
Originally released in 2000, the ‘Brazil’ colorway takes its cues from that country’s flag, with green and yellow tones (or what Nike calls “pine green” and “varsity maize”) on a clean, white midsole bed. This 2020 release is part of a “Team Tones” pack, with the Nike Dunk Low SP ‘University Red’ and ‘Champ Colours’ rounding out the trio.
