YOU just finished a rigorous sweat session and you have no time to hit the shower. What are you gonna do then?
Don't worry, you don't have to walk home smelling like a ratty, old gym sock. FHM asked avid gym-goers to share their best tips and product picks that keep them looking, smelling, and feeling fresh after working out. We summarized it into six items. Head over to the grocery and stash these must-haves in your bag-stat.
1) Wet Wipes
When you can't shower, wipes are the next best thing. Throw a pack into your bag to freshen yourself up instantly. Wipe them all over your body, focusing on your armpits and anywhere else you get particularly sweaty. Pat yourself dry with a towel to keep from feeling sticky.
Deodorant is a post-workout necessity-especially when you don't have the time to hit the shower. If bringing that roll on or spray is such as hassle, though, opt for the portable, small versions of these. Or better yet, buy the ones in a sachet.
3) Baby Powder
After using wet wipes, pat some baby powder on your feet, back, and nether regions. The talcum-based powder absorbs sweat and odor, while the scent keeps you smelling clean.
4) Dry Shampoo
Dry shampoo is simply a spray-on product that refreshes your hair without washing it. This will keep your hair looking grease-free if you can't shower after a workout (or even after days!) asap.
Mouthwash is a quick and easy way to freshen your breath. Just swish, spit, and you're good to go!
After you've cleaned up with the above steps, finish everything up with perfume. Apply to a pulse point, like your neck, wrists, and belly-button for a longer-lasting smell.
