RIDING on the success of the Manila leg, Women’s Run PH also proved to be a hit in its Iloilo leg over the weekend at Megaworld Iloilo.
Nicole Beatriz Pascasio ruled the 10K race with her time of 48 minutes and five seconds in the event organized by RUNRIO and co-presented by Festive Walk Iloilo, Megaworld Lifestyle Mall, and Iloilo Business Park.
Ivy Ibanez was second in the race in 49:49 while Jackielyn Estoquia completed the podium, clocking in at 49:57 in the run held in celebration of National Children’s Month.
“We’re delighted by the outpouring of support for Women’s Run PH, not just in Manila but also here in Iloilo. It’s a testament to the growing support among the community as we all uplift and empower each other,” said Women’s Run PH founder and CEO Nicole dela Cruz.
Delos Santos rules 5K race
Aiza delos Santos topped the 5K race with her time of 23 minutes and seven seconds, outpacing Liezl Ann Gallaza (24:33) and Kristine Cosio (25:25); while Mary Ysabel Lozada was the fastest among the kids in the 1K race, timing at three minutes and 41 seconds, faster than Christilyn Domen (4:29) and Rhea Mea Gajo (5:23).
