Manny Pacquiao recently celebrated the big 4-0 at the KCC Convention Center in General Santos surrounded by friends and fans from the worlds of politics, showbiz, and sports which included none other than President Rodrigo Duterte.
Say what you will about the fighting senator, no one can deny that he has achieved a lot in his 40 years. Growing up in poverty, he literally fought his way up to become the only eight-division world champion in boxing history. He has, since then, transitioned to become a businessman, a congressman, and is currently serving his term as a senator of the republic.
Dressed in a snappy dark blue suit and wearing a fedora, Manny gave away more than 50 motorcycles and four automobiles in raffle prizes.
Despite the festive occasion, Pacquiao is actually in the middle of training. He is putting his WBA welterweight world title on the line against former four-division world champion Adrien "The Problem" Broner on January 19, 2019, at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
