THE Nike Hyperdunk is set to make a return to the Olympics in Rio, eight years after Kobe Bryant debuted the shoe in the Beijing Games.
The 2008 Nike Hyperdunk was actually one of Bryant's signature shoes in the Nike 'Fade to Black' collection that was released to celebrate his NBA retirement.
Developed as part of Nike Basketball's Beijing Olympics Innovation program, the high top Nike Hyperdunk introduced several new technology such as the Flywire and Lunarlon cushioning.
The new releases will come out in at least two colorways, the 'Triple Solar Red' and the 'Triple Black.'
Although the release date has been officially announced, sources said both colorways will be available by July.
