OVER the weekend, sport stepped off the court and into the spotlight as global brand Oakley brought its signature “Bunker” experience to the main atrium of SM Mall of Asia.
Turning a familiar mall space into an interactive mini playground for athletes and fans alike, the installation was inspired by Oakley’s California headquarters.
Drawing nearly 2,000 attendees, the space featured the brand’s latest signature high-quality eyewear, apparel, footwear, and accessories designed for sport, action, and everyday movement.
Among those in attendance were members of the local sports community, including PBA players Juan Gomez de Liaño, Caelan Tiongson, and Andrei Caracut, as well as volleyball players Jovelyn Gonzaga and John Vic De Guzman.
They were joined by UAAP stars Dominic Escobar and Mason Amos, alongside several personalities from the entertainment industry like Dominic Roque, Kristoffer Martin, Jeric Gonzales, Brandon Espiritu, Vern Ong, Rafael Rosell, and Fabio Ide.

Interactive zones added to the experience. A golf simulator let guests test their swing, while a bike simulator offered a competitive setup with a leaderboard.
At the Press Lab area, attendees customized items using heat press applications featuring Filipino-inspired designs such as the jeepney, tamaraw, Philippine eagle, Banaue Rice Terraces, and tarsier.
The showcase also highlighted new eyewear models, including Plantaris SQ, Neo Jacket, RSLV, and HSTN SQ, built with performance-driven technology and updated design.
The Spring/Summer 2026 collection is available at Oakley stores nationwide and through its retail partner G-Force.
