DAMIAN Lillard’s new signature shoe has been unveiled… via NBA 2K21, of all places.
The Portland Trail Blazer — back home from the bubble after getting knocked out of the first-round playoff race against the Lakers — revealed the first official look at his seventh signature shoe with adidas.
He didn’t post an actual picture, though. On his social media accounts, the NBA bubble MVP posted an in-game graphic of the shoe, rendered in video game NBA 2K21.
Lillard will be wearing the Dame 7 inside the game, in an exclusive ‘I Am My Own Fan’ colorway.

Compared to the first look at the Dame 6, released around this time last year, the Dame 7 goes for a more restrained design.
The split-personality aesthetic has been replaced by a striped mesh upper. A raised wing flaring out of the midsole rise completes the look. We’re liking how the signature adidas Three Stripes has been shrunk into a subtle, tasteful little tag. But graphics on the midsole and heel bring a little bit of that flamboyant Dame personality into the design mix.
According to Sole Collector, the Dame 7s will continue to use Lightstrike cushioning from the Dame 6, and will have a "lacing system integrated into the material for enhanced lockdown."
Lillard may be wearing these in the game, but NBA 2K21 is also giving fans the chance to win one of these shoes in real life.
NBA 2K21 released worldwide on September 4 — a day the devs behind the game are calling “2K Day.”
Before Dame’s big reveal for 2K Day, Japan-based sneaker leaker US_11 also posted other colorways of the upcoming Dame 7, including this little fire orange number.

No price or release date for the Dame 7 have been announced by adidas.
