Now that Lonzo Ball finally has some help in LA (hi LeBron), we're looking forward to the Lakeshow going places this season—hopefully. He's got some new kicks too, from the infamous Big Baller Brand we have the ZO2.19
It drops in three colorways: New White, Lilac, and the multi-toned Madagascar. And we have to say it actually looks alright. It's not an ankle-breaker, but it has appeal, probably in the same endearing way as Zo's awkward shooting motion or something. Besides, it's an independently produced sneaker in the NBA, in 2018, we have to give them some props for that, too.
Slimmer but with the appropriate amount of sole chunk, the leather construction looks good and it's just the accompanying mesh portions that could use some aesthetic improvement in our opinion. It's also not a crazy $450 sneaker anymore, they've slashed the price in half to $200. That's still pretty steep, but if those Madagascars were to go on sale, we'd be tempted to cop for sure.
