SNEAKERHEADS took note of what LeBron James brought during practice at the Oracle Arena on Wednesday (Thursday, Manila time).
As the Cleveland Cavaliers prepared for Game One of the NBA Finals, James brought a reminder of where he started and maybe something for good luck.
The Cavs superstar arrived at the Oakland stadium wearing the "Rookie of the Year" Nike Air Zoom Generation PE that commemorated his impressive rookie season when he averaged 20 points, five rebounds and five assists. The rare and unreleased to the public all-white sneaker has the ROY logo on the upper and '20-5-5' on the medial ankle.
However, James replaced the 12-year old kicks with the current Nike LeBron 13 Elite before he stepped on the court.
Despite the clamor from fans and even James himself, Nike has yet to re-release the rookie shoes for public consumption.
