IT looks like a basketball shoe, but it’s for tennis players.
Kyrie Irving put a spin on his latest signature sneaker by making a unique collaboration with fellow Australia-born athlete and tennis star Nick Kyrgios.
Kyrgios is vying for top honors in the upcoming Australian Open in Melbourne wearing the Nike Vapor X “Kyrie 5,” a low-cut tennis version of Irving’s fifth signature shoe, evidenced by a Flytrap-inspired upper for a lockdown fit and a Vapor X midsole and outsole.

Irving, for his part, unveiled a Kyrie 5 PE (Player Exclusive) inspired by Kyrgios’ Vapor concept when the Boston Celtics recently hosted the Brooklyn Nets in an NBA regular season game.
The Kyrie-inspired Nike Vapor X will be available on Monday, January 14.
