JIO Jalalon and Aldrech Ramos went on another long ride in their bicycles, but now, they have company.
Jalalon and Ramos took another ride on their mountain bikes to Timberland Heights in San Mateo, one of the most popular destination for cyclists because of its climb.
The two, however, rode to San Mateo alongside fellow PBA players in Rodney Brondial, Robbie Herndon, Mon Abundo, and Mo Tautuaa. With the exception of Tautuaa, the group were either current or former players of the Magnolia Hotshots, and their ride was documented on their respective Instagram accounts.
While Jalalon and Ramos seemed to have an easy time on the ride to Timberland being already used to difficult long rides, two of their companions weren’t.
Herndon came in last among the group after being relegated to either riding or walking the uphill climb.
“Riding/walking up 1,000 miles uphill probably the hardest thing I ever done. I finished a respectable last place amongst the fellas but I am proud of myself,” wrote Herndon on his Instagram account.
Tautuaa also joked about his ride.
“After riding 1,169km uphill to the top of Timberland, I can safely tell you that I’ll never do this again and my bike is for sale,” wrote the San Miguel cager.
