WHEN it comes to Filipino representation on the world’s biggest basketball stage, not one, not two, but three key figures came together to bring this special pair of sneakers in action.
Houston Rockets’ Jalen Green was spotted wearing a Kevin Quiambao player-edition of the Adizero Select 3.0, designed by renowned toy artist Quiccs for adidas.
Green's timed it for the Rockets' Filipino Heritage Night at the Toyota Center on Thursday (Manila Time), where they also booked his first-ever playoff appearance in the NBA.

While the shoe has yet to be released, Green gave fans an early preview, showcasing the inner sole’s artwork, which features a portrait of Kevin Quiambao alongside Quiccs’ signature designs.
“Some heat for tonight,” Green wrote on his Instagram Story, adding a Philippine flag emoji.
The basketball silhouette boasts a muted pink to dusty rose upper, complemented by bright white and sunset (yellow to orange) accents.
The heel area is adorned with a KQ symbol and Quiccs’ logo, adding a signature touch to this special edition.
Both the Korean Basketball League import and the artist acknowledged with their respective posts on Instagram.
Quiccs wrote: “Honored to see our future KQ adizero Select 3.0 worn by Jalen Green today Congratulations Kevin Quiambao and adidas Philippines! Dropping in the near future!”
