THE biggest brands of 2020 collide in this one-of-a-kind sneaker collab — a collab so rare that it doesn’t even actually exist yet.
Sneaker meme page It’s Sole Good has posted a new Nike sneaker concept that mashes up the Jordan Brand with ubiquitous face shield manufacturer Heng De.
And what do you know, it actually looks pretty good. This Jordan 4 gets the Chinese brand’s baby blue highlights across its soles and lace eyelets. The Jumpman mark and the flashy 'H' of the Heng De logo sit boldly atop the tongue tags.
“One million pairs on hand,” goes the caption.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, inexpensive Heng De face shields are one of this season’s most popular products. In SM’s online store, they currently retail for P50.
Initially released in 1989, the Jordan 4 has seen a recent surge in new drops and collaborations ever since its 30th anniversary last year. Just two weeks ago, designer Virgil Abloh released the pristine Off White x Jordan 4 “Sail”, a refined monochrome take on the kicks. Paris Saint-Germain is also set to drop a wine-colored AJ4 by next month.
But Heng De when, Nike?
