RUNNING is one effective way to get that summer-ready body.
Here are a couple of events for you to choose from and sweat it out.
- The RUNRIO Trilogy kicks off on April 7 with its first leg at the Mall of Asia grounds, expecting over 6,000 participants, and featuring a 21-kilometer Half Marathon, on top of 5K and 10K categories.
Registration is until April 5.
The next two legs will take place within the next six months until September.
- The National Geographic Earth Day Run is set on April 14 firing off also at the MOA grounds.
The theme of the foot race is “Planet or Plastic?” as it aims to raise awareness of plastic pollution and reducing the amount of plastic that enters the world’s oceans.
Here are two other active lifestyle events that took place recently.
- The Red Bull Pump Track World Championship Philippine qualifier took place on Saturday at The Bike Playground, the country's first and only asphalt pump track.
The race gave local biking greats the chance to battle it out against Olympic BMX racers, MTB world champions, and some of the leading talents in the worldwide biking community.
- The Allianz Obstacle Coure Racing Sunday held its media launch last Wednesday.
For the second straight year, Allianz is making its mark in the sport of Obstacle Course Racing as it partners once again with Conquer Challenge PH to hold its first OCR event for this year.
