DWIGHT Ramos sporting a San Miguel Beer championship shirt was nothing more than a fashion choice.
Not a fashion statement.
“They just gave it to me, it looks cool on me, that’s why I wore it,” the 6-foot-4 Gilas Pilipinas guard shared with SPIN.ph on Wednesday afternoon.

Ramos sparked interest for wearing the shirt from the Beermen's 2024 PBA Commissioner's Cup championship when he watched his brother, Eli, play for Adamson in the FilOil EcoOil Preseason Cup.

Dwight, who has signed a contract extension with his Japan B.League side Levanga Hokkaido, said he had the shirt for a couple of days now and decided to cut the sleeve because it can’t fit his arms.
He shared a member of the SMB coaching staff gave it to him.
Coincidentally, San Miguel seized its 3-0 lead after a win over Rain or Shine in their Philippine Cup semifinal series on the same day.
Is he a fan?
“Yeah, I can say, I know everyone, I know all of them, and I’ve watched their games,” he said.
