The word ‘diet’ is not in Cignal opposite spiker Mylene Paat's vocabulary.

After their straight-set win over PLDT, 25-22, 27-25, 25 19, the HD Spiker's 'resident standout shared that she does not follow any kind of diet on or offseason.

She even stressed that she eats whatever she wants the night before a game, something she considers her personal ritual.

“Sa gabi, kinakain ko lang lahat ng gusto ko. Tapos in the morning, siguro less lang yung pagkain na tine-take ko,” said Paat.

On Paat’s Instagram account, she displays her well-defined body which we thought was from an intense workout routine.

However, Paat revealed that she doesn’t do any hardcore workout other than their team’s usual gym training and simple exercises she does at home.

When asked about her at-home workout exercises, Paat joked about not wanting to share her personal routine.

“Secret ko kaya yon! Joke lang,” she said laughing.

She stated that her personal routine consists of the usual early morning jog and a few stretches.

“I jog every morning. Kunwari, may training kami ng ala-una, so gigising ako ng 7:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m. para mag-jogging and then konting bands tapos that’s it. Mobilization,” she shared.

Her pre-game ritual seems to be effective as Paat registered 12 spikes, five blocks, and two service aces last Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
