CHRIS Ross made his voice heard against social injustice in San Miguel’s match against Rain or Shine on Tuesday.
Taking a page out of the NBA players during the bubble, the San Miguel Fil-American guard had a social justice message of his own, wearing a headband with a ‘Black Lives Matter’ words across it.
During the recently concluded season, NBA players wore jerseys with social justice messages in an offshoot of the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor in the United States that also sparked protests in the United States.
The PBA didn’t have players who put social justice messages on their jerseys but that didn’t stop the outspoken Ross from making his voice heard.
Before the game, Ross also wore a ‘Black Lives Matter’ hoodie which he posted on his Instagram.
