ASICS brought its newest retail pop-up to Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, introducing the brand’s latest running gear to the area’s growing community of runners.
The opening gathered local runners, athletes, and partners, who kicked off the morning with a short community run around the Rockwell district before the store officially opened.
The event also served as the Philippine launch of the SUPERBLAST 3, the newest entry in the brand’s BLAST performance running line.
New and improved BLAST
The SUPERBLAST 3 introduces FF LEAP foam, which ASICS describes as its lightest and most responsive cushioning to date. The new material works with a redesigned trampoline pod and a dual-layer cushioning system aimed at improving energy return during runs.
Other updates include a revised eyestay design intended to provide more midfoot support and an engineered woven upper built for better airflow and flexibility. Together, the changes reduce the shoe’s overall weight while aiming to keep the ride responsive.
Guests at the opening also got a look at several of the brand’s current lines, including Performance Running, Core Performance Sports, and Sportstyle collections.
The SUPERBLAST 3 will be available in the Philippines beginning March 11 at select ASICS stores nationwide.
