In the manga-anime sports series Haikyuu!!, the Karasuno team rose to the occasion when no one saw them coming. From the bottom of the prefecture rankings, the team rallied to make it to the top of the national stage in Japan.
The hard work they put in is no secret, but their on-court equipment also helped them get by.
In a bit of cross-media branding, the Miyagi-based team as has always been powered by the sports brand Asics.
