It seems like the stars have aligned for the San Miguel Beermen last Wednesday as they survived TNT KaTropa in a Game 2 double overtime thriller in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Arwind Santos, however, believed all the energy and luck that allowed the team to equalize the series were brought forth by the matching white hairband and arm sleeve he wore during the game.
He said a Feng Shui master advised him to take a break from his famous neon-colored accessories and try something new to change the vibe taking hold of the team.
According to the Chinese astrology, white is one of the lucky colors of this year.
Though going white proved to be fortuitous for the team at endgame, Santos assured fans that they'll still see him donning his signature vibrant-colored gear down the road.
Santos' return to neon, however, will have to wait for now because chances are high he's going to sport white again for Game 3.
