RUNNERS and sneakerheads alike are in for a treat with the release of adidas’ latest performance running shoe in its Boost series, the much-anticipated Ultra Boost Uncaged.
Apart from its popular foam pellets-based cushioning, the Ultra Boost Uncaged features a new adidas Primeknit upper, an internal support system and a unique tiered lacing design.
The evolution of the brand's 'greatest running shoe ever' continues with Ultra Boost Uncaged. Adidas replaced the plastic cage from the previous Ultra Boost with an internal midfoot skeleton using technology developed for the world’s top track athletes.
A re-engineered upper made from Primeknit fabric provides flexible breathability and natural movement. An adaptive knit collar allows foot entry, while a new multi-tiered lacing system allows runners to personalize style and fit and specially-designed flat laces offer enhanced comfort and stability.
Alongside its new innovations, the new kicks features a supportive heel counter to keep the foot locked in place for additional stability; a full length BOOST midsole provides 'Energy Return' and a Stretchweb Continental Rubber outsole that flexes naturally for superior traction.
The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged drops in adidas stores on June 29 for P8,995.
