NOTHING hits the feelings more than nostalgia, and adidas definitely did not miss in the launch of its Basketball Collection Chapter 02.
In a maximalist 'Y2K' era, the global sports brand dared be different, releasing a full pack of neutral sports lifestyle wear to play around with the basics.
It serves as adidas' 'refreshing take on combining effortless form and function,' returning to the very foundation of clothing.
With the neutral colors of Alumina, Black, and Heather Grey, different pieces—from shirts, shorts, and joggers, to bucket hats and sweaters—can easily be combined without much thinking.
The brand believes it's a way to make its aficionados remember the 'why' as they discover their own styles around their zones, using only pieces from the collection.
Basically better with basics.
The collection is seen on Meralco star Aaron Black:
"Our journey continues by returning to the place where many hoopers discover their why, their first court," he said.
