THE sold-out adidas face covers will make a triumphant return tomorrow, September 27, announced the global sports brand in its official Viber channels.
“Made to reuse, not resell,” said the brand in its message to its fans — perhaps a tacit acknowledgment of what happened the last time these face masks went on sale.
The face covers were launched in the Philippines on July 15, and were sold out in its app within minutes. Many fans were left disappointed.
Adidas seems to be taking steps to prevent this from happening again.
For one, it’s limiting the sales of the covers to one pack per customer.
For another, it’s splitting up the two colorways among its flagship stores. The black face cover will only be available at adidas Two Parkade and adidas Trinoma. The blue face cover will only be available at NBHD Ayala Bay and Bonifacio High Street.
The price will remain the same: P300 for three face covers.
