Yulo's dominance in the floor exercise in the Asian region began in the 2022 edition in Doha, then repeating in Singapore in 2023 and Tashkent in 2024.
He also ruled the same event in the Paris Olympics last year.
The 25-year-old Yulo also competed in the final of the rings and finished seventh with a score of 13.233. The gold was won by Lan Xingyu of China after registering 14.933.
Yulo will look to add more medals on Sunday in the final day of the competition, as he is entered in the final of three apparatuses, including vault where he is also the reigning Olympic champion.
He will also see action in the parallel bars and horizontal bar.
The Philippines also has another entry in the vault final aside from Yulo in John Ivan Cruz.
