CARLOS Yulo picked up a gold medal at the end of the 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia when he snagged the title in vault on Saturday.

Yulo recorded a total score of 14.866 to capture the third world crown of his career following his conquest of the floor in 2019 and vault in 2021.

Yulo salvaged a gold medal despite nursing a wrist injury that limited his participation in this year’s worlds. Still, Yulo managed to secure a bronze in floor on Friday, his only other event in the competition.
