ELDREW Yulo wrapped up his 3rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships campaign with a bronze medal in the horizontal bar.
The 17-year-old Yulo captured his second bronze of the competition with a routine worth 14.000, adding the high bar medal to the floor exercise bronze that he copped last Saturday.

As the sixth gymnast to compete, Yulo tallied a 13.900 but the score was adjusted after gaining a 0.100 bonus to take the second spot. But that didn't last long as Colombia's Camilo Vera saved the best for last with a 14.533 score.
But Yulo also had his own grand finale as he did a Tak half, Cassina, Kolman, Jam to Endo, and Stadler before finishing with a stuck triple back, according to the International Gymnastics Federation’s X account.
Yulo said he is the first Filipino to do a Cassina and a triple back dismount.

“That’s the most beautiful dismount that I ever did. It’s the most difficult routine that I ever did… I’m so proud of myself to the point that I’m sharing it with you,” Yulo told reporters after the competition. “It’s hardwork. Pinag-isipan ko ng maayos ‘yun.”
It was an excellent send-off for Yulo as he heads to the seniors division next year when he turns 18 on August 29.
