ELDREW Yulo copped his first gold medal of his seniors career when he brought home the floor exercise title of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup Series in Antalya, Turkey.
Yulo scored 14.100 in the floor exercise final, topping the event by beating the likes of Eamon Montgomery of Ireland (13.833) and Rayderley Zapata of Spain (13.333).
The 18-year-old younger brother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo reached the final by placing fourth in the qualification stage with a score of 13.666.
Yulo was fresh from his stint in the Baku, Azerbaijan leg of the World Cup series where he placed fourth in the floor exercise, and seventh in the horizontal bar earlier this month.
