ELDREW Yulo will compete in four events in the apparatus finals including the vault where he is the defending champion of the Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships junior division in Jecheon, Korea.
Yulo placed fourth in vault of the men’s individual all-around with a score of 13.249 to secure a place in the final to be held on Sunday, giving him a shot at repeating last year’s feat in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The vault is just one of four events that the younger brother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo will be competing in after he finished a respectable ninth place in the individual all-around with a score of 75.698.
Eldrew placed sixth in the horizontal bar with 12.733, sixth in the floor exercise with 13.533, and ninth in the pommel horse with 12.633.
Yulo finished 12th in the rings with 11.933, and 25th in the parallel bars with 11.800, and failed to make it to the finals of the events.
Yulo will be competing against the likes of An Daegeon of Korea, Bak Junwoo of Korea, and Bajaj Akshats of India after finishing in the top three of the vault qualifications.
Evan Thomas Aliwalas, the other Philippine entry in the juniors division, ended up at 29th in the all-around with a total score of 67.397.
Caloy vying for gold in floor, rings on Saturday
Meanwhile, Carlos Yulo will be vying for the floor exercise and the rings gold medals during Saturday's apparatus final in the seniors division.
Yulo is the reigning champion of the floor exercise and sealed a return to the final after scoring 14.433 in the qualification round.
Caloy will have a lot of ground to make in the rings as he placed seventh in the qualification phase.
Yulo is also entered in the vault, parallel bars, and horizontal bar finals slated on Sunday.
