CARLOS Yulo won bronze in the boys’ vault in the 2015 International Junior Gymnastics Championship on Thursday at the Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium in Japan.
Yulo finished behind Giarnni Regini Moran of Great Britain, who won gold in the Nanjing Youth Olympics, and China’s Yue Ma, silver medalist in Nanjing.
“Winning along with the YOG gold medalist is a solid proof that he has a big potential in getting gold medal if given with the proper training,” said Gymnastics Association of the Philippines president Cynthia Carrion.
GAP is raising funds to send Yulo to a training camp in Japan for a year.
