ZACH Johnson birdied four of the par 5s and shot a 5-under 67 to take a one-shot lead Thursday (Friday, Manila time) over Matt Kuchar in the World Challenge.
One of the only five players in the elite 18-man field who managed to break par at Sherwood Country Club is tournament host Tiger Woods with a 71.
Hunter Mahan and Bubba Watson were at 70.
