The Filipina-Japanese golfer had five bogeys against a lone birdie, slipping from a share of fourth in the Japan LPGA major tournament.
Saso wound up sharing 13th spot with four others at five-under 283, seven strokes behind winner Saki Nagamine, who had a closing 69.
Na-Ri Lee shot the day’s best 67 and finished in joint second at 277 with Ayako Kimura, who carded a 69, and Hikari Tanabe, who closed with a 71.
Nagamine bagged ¥36000000 (over P16 million).
Saso’s 13th place finish was worth ¥ 2,640,000 (around P1.2 million).
