    Jun 16, 2012

Tiger Woods traded three birdies for three bogeys and settled for a par-70 and a share of the lead after the second round of the 112th US Open.

Woods, who shot a 69 on Friday at Olympic Club in San Francisco, was joined at the top spot of the leaderboard by fellow Americans Jim Furk and David Toms at 139.

Furyk fired a one-under 69 and Toms had a 70 at the Lake Course.

Overnight leader Michael Thompson had a 75 and slipped to joint fourth with John Peterson (70), Nicolas Colsaerts (69) and Graeme McDowell (72) at one-over 141.

The world's top two players, both from the other side of the pond, have exited the US Open at 11 over and 10 over, respectively.

    No. 1 Luke Donald carded a 72 after an opening-round 79, while No. 2 Rory McIlroy added a 73 to his first-round 77.

Masters champion Bubba Watson had rounds of 78-71 and was also set to miss the weekend play.
