BIANCA Pagdanganan came up with another fine round in harsh conditions, finishing with some steady play in the LPGA Drive On Championship on Sunday in Toledo, Ohio (Monday, Manila time).
The Filipina shotmaker, part of the trio that won Asian Games gold in 2018, came up with another 73 on a tough day at Inverness that saw only five players finish under par.
Pagdanganan wound up at 220 for 28th with among others former No. 1 Lydia Ko, who closed with a 71.

Big-hitting Pagdanganan
The 22-year-old Pagdanganan also made her mark as a big hitter, topping the tournament in average driving distance at 295.33.

“It feels great to finish my first event. I had so much fun, so it feels like it went by so fast,” said Pagdanganan.
Pagdanganan had three birdies, including back-to-back from No. 12, but suffered four bogeys. She bagged $6,862 (around P330,000).
Clariss Guce, the other Filipina in the final round, had a closing 76 for joint 64th at 224.
Danielle Kang of the US won the LPGA’s first tournament since February, firing a final-round 70 for a one-stroke victory over Celine Boutier of France.

Kang earned $150,000 after finishing seven-under with earlier rounds of 66-73, while Boutier pocketed $91,269 after a closing 71.
Minjee Lee of Australia had a closing 70 for solo third at 212 worth $66,209, while Yui Kawamoto of Japan carded a 72 and was fourth for $51,218.
