SOLAIRE Resort Entertainment City has opened its brand-new golf simulator at the Solaire Sports Club.
The facility was formally launched on Wednesday with Korean golfer Ina Yoon, who is in her rookie year in the LPGA Tour, and Bloomberry Resorts Corp. chair and Philippine golf patron Enrique Razon gracing the event.
A big supporter of golf in the country, Solaire opened its Golf Suite which has two bays with complete amenities, offering realistic game play, analytics, and a chance to play virtually in some of the most popular golf courses in the world.

“We are committed to providing our guests with the best sports experience possible,” said David Batchelor, SVP resort operations at Solaire Resort Entertainment City. “This golf simulator addition is designed to elevate the game for both novices and seasoned players, making golf more accessible and enjoyable all-year round.”
Yoon said she expects Solaire’s virtual golf facility to lure more Filipinos to take up the sport, especially youngsters.
“Technology is really good and advanced,” said Yoon, whose campaign in the LPGA is also being supported by Solaire. “It’s always better to practice indoors and whenever I go out to the course, it’s very helpful to do (practice indoors).
“It’s very similar because back then, the technology wasn’t advanced. These days, it’s a lot better,” said the 22-year-old Yoon, currently ranked No. 43 in the world who recently competed in the AIG Women’s Open.
She is also thankful to the support of Solaire to her career.
“My target is to play CME. I’m working hard to play the last tournament of the year. And then, hopefully, I win one this year. That’s my goal,” Yoon said.
“I’m very thankful to Solaire for believing in me and supporting my journey as a professional golfer. I have a dedicated partner by my side every time, especially Mr. Razon and all the other people are really trying to cheer me up every tournament."
