RAFA Anciano emerged victorious in the Girls A Division (15–19) at the 2025 ASEAN Junior Championship held from November 23 to 26 in Malaysia, in the process becoming the tournament’s lone Filipino champion.
Anciano put together a steady three-round total of 239 in the demanding Kota Seriemas Golf & Country Club course in Kuala Lumpur in the latest achievement of a fast-rising golf career.
A product of the Villaroman Golf Academy under the guidance of coach Carito Villaroman, Rafa’s triumph also secures her a round-trip ticket and a special exemption to the 2026 Asian Junior Masters at Black Mountain in Thailand this February.
