PRINCESS Superal pulled off a solid homeward nine to finish in joint second place in the Sara Bay Classic on Sunday in Sarasota, Florida (Monday, Manila time).
The former Philippine Ladies Open champion and US girls amateur winner fired a closing 72, hitting two birdies to get to level par after dropping two strokes on the front nine in the Symetra Tour event at the Sara Bay Country Club.
Superal finished at even 216, two strokes off Australia’s Hannah Green, who fired a closing 73.
The 20-year-old Filipina golfer bagged US$8,975 (around P440,000).
Benyapa Niphatsophon also wound up at 216 after a final-round 77.
Clariss Guce had a closing 71 to finish in a share of 20th at 223, while Mia Piccio fired a final-round 74 for a 224 total.
